Introduction to Paratriathlon Workshop
The Australian Paralympic Committee and Triathlon Australia Ltd extends an invitation to sport science and sports medicine staff (physiotherapists and physicians), coaches, sports development staff and technical officials to attend an Introduction to Paratriathlon workshop in conjunction with the April 2012 ITU World Triathlon Series event in Sydney. The seminar will involve a 3 hour session, focusing on the history and structure of Paratriathlon, Paratriathlon classification, classifier development pathway, specific rules relating to Paratriathlon. This is also an opportunity for medical and technical personnel to become familiar with the basis of classification related to Paratriathlon and potentially initiate the pathway to become a Paratriathlon classifier.
